San Diego is one of my favorite places to visit. I go every year to participate in Susan G. Komen's 3 Day breast cancer walk. The first time I went to San Diego I was 19 years old and had never really left the state of Florida, so I was obsessed. It just occurred to me on my recent visit how many incredible humans I know that are either from San Diego or live there now. I have been wanting to make a change and decided "UMMM I am moving out here." So over the past couple of months I have been trying to figure out a way to get my booty out there. Stay tuned. :) On my recent visit I planned a couple days with my good friend and photographer Russell Spencer. He has a pretty rad group of humans out there and he took me to meet everyone. I had heard so much about his buddies that owned a local coffee cart, started a sunglass line or own a vintage clothing store, etc. It was so nice to finally meet everyone. I would strongly recommend making the trip to any of these spots on your next visit to San Diego if you want to feel a true local vibe.
