Visiting the beautiful city of Barcelona was absolutely incredible. Every street is lined with cafes, restaurants, beautiful architecture and amazing shopping. Everyone I told I was going that had previously been raved about the party scene but I opted out of that experience and choose to visit the museums and monuments that contribute to the history of Barcelona. I'd been interested in Gaudí's work but getting to see it first hand sparked a new obsession. Stepping inside the Sagrada Família Basílica was hands down the most magical experince of my life. Every inch of this massive structure is so preciously detailed and immaculate. I love the darkness expressed through Gaudí's work. I can only imagine how grand his every thought must have been. His imagination was something we haven't seen since or likely will again in arcticturel work. If you're ever lucky enough to visit this grand city I vote you visit the following locations.
1. Sagrada Família Basílica - Spend time outside and inside the structure. Recorded tour. Bring your own headphones. Also pay a little extra to go up on either tower.
